It's about time!!
"With unbridled enthusiasm, B. Green & Co.., Inc. Can finally announce that we will be opening our newest Green Valley Marketplace within the College Parkway Center in the very near future! We are so pleased to become a part of Arnold and the surrounding communities.
This is a particularly exciting time in our corporate life in as much as B. Green, the parent company of Green Valley Marketplace, is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.
Currently owned by the Sigman and Green families, our grandfather founded our company in 1915, having immigrated from Europe and settled in Baltimore. The one constant throughout our 100 year history has been to focus on the neighborhoods we serve and to be an important part of those communities. We are, after all, your neighbor. In fact, one of our family members lives just a few minutes away from the store.
We are so appreciative of the warm welcome we received when we recently met at the Broadneck Community Library. In fact, your support for our store helped to "seal the deal" with county officials.
We have a lot to do over the next few weeks as we prepare to open the store. We think you'll like what you see. We will update our progress via our Facebook page, GreenValleyMarketplace, as well as on the various community Facebook pages.
